About

What we’re about . . .

We are about family. We are about friends. We are about turning strangers we meet into friends. We are about treating all those we come in contact with respect, fairness, and courtesy. We are about sharing ideas and finding solutions to problems. We are about working in our community to make it a better place. We are . . .

David & Pam Brown, Editors & Sales

We have lived on the Eastern Shore for 29 1/2 years and will celebrate 30 years of marriage this fall. While living here, we have been blessed to raise our four sons. We also have one daughter (our oldest son’s wife) and they are blessing us with a new grand baby in the fall. Pam generally describes herself as “homegrown” having moved here with her family in 1963. Family has always been our number one priority and we are very fortunate to have three of our sons still living in this area with one hoping to return soon. We are proud of each of them. During our years on the Eastern Shore, we have owned and operated several small businesses and strongly believe in supporting our local merchants and shopping locally.

Josh & Anna Brown, Graphic Design & Photography

Josh was born and raised on the Eastern Shore before he was forced into exile to Atlanta for college. After meeting Anna, they both decided to stay in Atlanta as they started their careers, where Josh runs his own graphic design company (Red Cowboy Designs) and Anna is a photographer (AnnaCookBrown.com). They have been married for over 2 years and are expecting their first child at the end of October. They have been actively trying to move back to the Eastern Shore for the last year and a half but the horrible real estate market has just had other plans for them. Until it steadies itself, they bide their time buried in the suburbs of Atlanta.
